It’s just one indication of our changing world. Instagram lags the other Tech Princes of the digital age — Splunk, Zynga, Groupon, Twitter and LinkedIn are all worth over $2 billion, and all are less than ten years old. Meanwhile, the Kings remain Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Apple.
But perhaps the most striking thing about this chart is how some of the oldest companies — whether it’s publications like The Times or stores like Radioshack, are worth the least.
