    Everyone is still talking about Yahoo’s latest news-making acquisition —  for this very social blogging platform! On Monday, the company’s board approved a $1.1 billion all-cash deal to acquire Tumblr.     ABC to Live-Stream Its Shows via App

    The live stream, which will be available only to cable and satellite subscribers, is the first time that any major broadcaster has turned on such a technology.

    Just in time for its season finales last week and this week, ABC announced a broadcast TV game changer: App users on tablets and smartphones can now live stream local programming, no more requirements to wait a day or a week post-broadcast to catch favorite shows wherever fans might be.
